Exhibited in Arts Commons' Window Galleries, Ryle Ramirez's unwavering commitment to the Arts got realized by presenting his life's work within a 4-month long exhibit. Titled: "the places we've left behind'.
The 3-set exhibit shares Ryle's  thoughts and reflections on the power of memories and the colourful journey of his artistic pursuit. The 3-set title's to his exhibit, "then", "now'' and "the next", were unknown to the public at the time of the exhibit due to Ryle's purposeful play of "let the audience figure it out"
During the Artist Reception where Ryle was given the time to share his thoughts, he shared a memory when he first moved to Canada, saying that “everything seemed to be governed by ticking of the clock..”, “demanding efficiency and constant productivity.” He then contrasted this with his past self, living as an Islander in a small humble Island in the Philippines called Cebu.
  • Though we can see that these periods of Ryle’s life are polar opposites to one another, “ART remained a constant, serving as a bridge between periods of my life.” he said.
